President's Message
Thursday November 9, 2023
Dear Members,
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with you and the branch. My name is Cameron Gordon, and this is my fourth year as a member and first as an executive officer. I have lived in the valley for over thirty years; gaining my education and working here in the Friendly City. I am looking forward to our activities and organizing this year as we pursue the goals of our organization. I aim for developing our joint shared commitment and meeting the branch's needs.
I have four children and I enjoy football. I want them to know encouragement and what a fair and just human rights policy in their community looks like. I initially planned to pursue my culinary career after football. I fully understand the challenges that many people face today. State and local statutes and regulations can sometimes fail to deliver justice for everyone. Our work will be to assist individuals and groups with any experience of discriminatory practices, policies or procedures.
As we have seen in recent years in our country, unsettling events can diminish our constant march for equality. Our mission is found in our branch slogan, "Working for justice while honoring the past."
You are welcome to contact me with any questions, comments, ideas or concerns. I will make every effort to ensure a swift response. I have included up to date contact information to facilitate open communication.
Thank you again and I appreciate your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Cameron Gordon, President
